When I was a child, I remember being in school and loving the art classes I was involved in. All the crayons, colored pencils, and colored markers allowed me to express my creativity at a young age. There were not many things that I enjoyed more. Creating art really allowed me to grow my imagination. I could draw anything, in any color, and dream big.
Growing up, I would imagine myself as Superman and draw pictures of myself flying through the sky. I used so many colors, and even though I was not the greatest artist, the process of putting my imagination onto paper using a variety of colors was more fun than anything!
Even though I had a big imagination as a kid, I never could have imagined anything like the technology we have today to create art. Tablets, such as an Apple iPad, allow everyone to be an artist and draw out their imagination in an unlimited number of ways. It really is a powerful drawing tool that allows for an amazing drawing experience for a digital artists.
Also, an Apple Pencil is essential to use in order to create amazing drawings on the Apple iPad. I have the newest version of Apple Pencil, which is the second generation Apple Pencil (Apple Pencil 2).
iPad artists are starting to increase in number because Apple iPad art has soared in popularity recently, and I am one of the people who gravitated towards using an iPad for digital art.
12.9 Inch iPad Pro
The best iPad for drawing is the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. The 12.9 inch iPad Pro which I have has a Liquid Retina XDR display and an Apple M1 chip. Apple just released a new upgraded version of the iPad Pro 12.9 inch model in late 2022, containing a brand new Apple M2 chip. This upgrade is reflected in the iPad Pro's price tag.
Liquid Retina XDR display
According to Apple, "The Liquid Retina XDR display delivers true-to-life detail with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, great for viewing and editing HDR photos and videos or enjoying your favorite movies and TV shows. It also features a breathtaking 1000 nits of full‑screen brightness and 1600 nits of peak brightness along with advanced display technologies like P3 wide color, True Tone, and ProMotion." The display quality on the iPad Pro 12.9 inch is truly extraordinary, with detailed graphics and an overall great display perfect for drawing apps.
Apple M1 chip and M2 chip
The Apple M1 chip has been replaced with the new M2 chip in the newest iPad Pro models introduced in late 2022. This powerful tablet, the 12.9 inch iPad Pro, also has a larger screen than the other Apple iPads in the Apple iPad lineup. The M2 chip also has an impressive battery life. All-day battery life is a feature of the new iPad Pro with the M2 chip.

Apple Pencil 2
The second generation Apple Pencil (Apple Pencil 2) improves upon the first generation Apple Pencil. The Apple Pencil 2 costs $129. The Apple Pencil 2 has the following features: Wireless pairing and charging, attaches magnetically to the Apple iPad, double-tap to change tools, pixel-perfect precision, tilt and pressure sensitivity, imperceptible lag, and an option for free engraving.
Magic Keyboard
The magic keyboard is an accessory for the Apple iPad Pro models. The Magic Keyboard has a floating cantilever design, which allows you to attach iPad Pro magnetically and to smoothly adjust it to the perfect viewing angle for you.
Conclusion
I enjoy having all the tools necessary for creating art all located inside of a tablet. It allows for an endless combination of artistic creations in the convenience of a handheld tablet, and I am glad to have this technology available to do what I love, which is to create art!
